The perfect tank dress - fit to perfection. Details include a tailored fold-over hem and precision neck and armhole shaping. The dress is knit to a gauge of 12 sts and 16 rows to the inch, so it is not exactly a quick knit. But it is stockinette st and it is knit in one piece - there is only a center back seam to sew and shoulders to graft. Plus, because of the neck and armhole shaping, no additional finishes are required. We have included charts of this classic shape - a great starting point for creating a color block design (just be sure to check your knitting gauge, especially if you change to a patterned or fair isle stitch).
