A light and lacy summer top to knit for your fashion dolls. And so very interesting to knit indeed! The midriff's lace stitch may be a little different than the types of lace stitches you are used to. There are no "yo's" or "2tog's" to create the usual eyelets. Instead, the lace effect is created using the "tuck" method. The stitch can be challenging. But we think the results are well worth it, especially the light-as-air scalloped edge that's achieved. The lace midriff is followed by a textured band, a perfectly fitting yoke which features short turn rows, and an all-in-one neckband and shoulder strap combination.
